The war has been going on only for one day, yet I already feel tired, dirty and shellshocked. The strain of two long and bloody battles in one day is simply too much to absord. I've also noticed our officers thought little about the minor things like proper supply. Our company has shortage of food, clothing, bandages, spare parts etc. Only thing we have adequately is ammunition. The food we have is some unrecognizable grey spam packed in tin cans. I bet they were manufactured when Comrade Brezhnev was still the Head Secretary. Can't wait to get our hands on American supplies, I've heard that their battlefield meal is like the main course on finest Moscow restaurant!

The US Army regulars and Rebel scumbags made surprisingly stiff resistance to our forces in the initial landings. Thanks to your determined efforts we eventually managed to establish stabile frontline in Northern Maldevic.

Men, you deserve some rest - only some light maintenance work and repairs for the evening. Others will hold the line in the meantime.
